Blossom Foods was created by Sue Graziano Adams MS-CCC/SLP after recognizing the need to provide softer meals to those that need it or choose to eat their food that is modified in texture.
As a speech pathologist for 17 years treating adults in acute care, rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing homes, and as outpatients, Sue evaluated and treated hundreds of patients that had been diagnosed with swallowing problems (dysphagia) or noted having difficulty with certain food textures. The reality was they were not able to purchase these foods and often found themselves with the tedious task of pureeing or grinding their food.
Blossom Foods commitment is to take away this tedious task and bring the pleasure of eating back to the table. Such enticing meals as slow cooked pot roast, simmered chicken in gravy, stuffing, creamed spinach, roasted tomatos with parmesan topping and multiple desserts are only limited by your having to choose which combination to put together.
Our staff and consultants of speech pathologists, dietitians, physicians, and chef work very hard to bring a new level to modified textured food that is both enjoyable and nutritious.
